Script consultancy and dramaturgy is some of our favourite work to do…

We love talking story with writers and creators whatever form you're working in, and our feedback process is built on being honest and kind. 

Whether working with you as an individual or in a creative team, we're sensitive to how different creative processes can be from project-to-project, and able to help you through every part, whether you need to be asked questions to find the story you're telling, specific insight on character, narrative arc, or audience experience, or you're at the line edit stage.

Projects we’ve been proud to script consult and dramaturg on are: 

• Multi-awarding winning virtual reality experience SOUL PAINT, which has been recognised at Downing Street as a leading UK innovation at the nexus of creative storytelling, immersive technology, health and wellbeing. Hannah Wood is Script and Experience Design Consultant on this project and worked closely with Co-Directors Sarah Ticho and Niki Smit, as well as Creative and Line Producer Anna Firbank. 

• Two promenade immersive productions by Rob Mennear | GRIT that fuse live and digital experience design, striking visuals, movement, soundscapes and poetry: To The Moon and Back and Moving Portraits. Hannah worked with Rob and his creative teams as dramaturg and script editor on both, helping to translate his vision into embodied storytelling experiences that play at the intersection of beauty and harshness, light and dark. 

• Corinne Walker's Arts Council-funded play The Fight Well Project about medical racism and black women's experiences within the healthcare system, which toured to London and the South West. Hannah worked with Corinne as Video Game Consultant, helping explore how video game tropes may translate into its creative form and feeding back on script. 

Hannah is an experienced Senior Lecturer in Creative Writing teaching dramatic writing for script and screen, prose fiction, games writing and immersive storytelling to BA and MA students and supervising PhD projects.
